You Don’t Have to Battle Food and Sugar Alone
About I’ve Had Enough Cake
I created IveHadEnoughCake.com because I hit my own breaking point.
There was a moment when I knew I couldn’t keep living trapped in cycles of food and sugar addiction promising myself “this time will be different,” then ending up back in the same exhausting loop.
I know what it feels like to be:
- Drained from constantly thinking about food
- Ashamed of “lack of willpower”
- Isolated, hiding how bad it really feels
- Trying to control something that seems impossible to control
My recovery began the day I finally admitted: I’ve had enough.
Not enough of cake or sugar-enough of the shame, the secrecy, the white-knuckling. That honesty cracked the door open to something new: simple daily practices, real support, and a way of living that wasn’t about dieting or obsessing over the scale.
Over time, my healing has been built on:
- Nourishing whole foods instead of punishment and restriction
- Mindful pauses instead of automatic, emotional eating
- Spiritual grounding instead of chaos and self-blame
- Community and connection instead of isolation
- Choosing love over fear - one small decision at a time
I’ve Had Enough Cake is the space I wish I’d had back then:
a judgment-free, compassionate home for anyone ready to say,
“I can’t do this like this anymore… and I don’t want to do it alone.”
My Mission
My mission is to offer hope, healing, and a practical solution to anyone suffering from food and sugar addiction. After years of struggle myself, I understand the isolation, shame, and exhaustion of trying to control this disease alone. Through my work, I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where honesty is welcomed, vulnerability is supported, and reaching out becomes a life-changing act of courage.
What I bring to you is the lived experience of recovery humble, astonishing process that unfolds through simple daily actions. I will guide you toward the tools, structure, and spiritual practices that helped me find freedom: nourishing whole foods, mindful pauses, connection with others, and a willingness to lean into love rather than fear. My goal is to help you experience the same shift I did from comparison to connection, from despair to possibility, from isolation to community.
I am here to help you discover that recovery is not only possible but life-saving. I will walk with you as you breathe, listen, trust, and build a new relationship with food and with yourself. Together we will explore how to release what no longer serves you, illuminate your best self, and cultivate gratitude, presence, and peace.
What I offer is hope experienced and hope shared a reminder that you are worthy, you are not alone, and you never have to give up on recovery.
